1. Information Available Through NumLookup.com

NumLookup gathers publicly available information and makes it accessible to individuals, businesses, and government agencies through its products and services, including the search tool on NumLookup.com. NumLookup collects information from the following sources:

• Phone Directories – Telephone numbers sourced from publicly available white pages directories.
• Internet - Personal information such as Name, Phone Number, Email, Address, etc. that may be available anywhere on the internet for public use.
• Consumer Indexes – Profiles containing details such as age, name, address, and other demographic information voluntarily disclosed by consumers to third-party survey companies without restriction.
• Email Databases - Email addresses disclosed by consumers to third party survey companies without restriction.
• Property Records - Public property records from government offices around the country, including real estate deeds and assessor records.
• Social Networks - Public social profiles drawn from social networks.
• Business Directories - Business listings pulled from the yellow pages telephone directories and other public business directories. These listings include name, title, business address, website and email.

We do not share or sell sensitive personal information - we never share sensitive personal information such as Social Security numbers, financial data, credit card details, credit scores, arrest or court records, passwords, or any other information that could compromise your security. The information we provide is limited to publicly available records that individuals, businesses, and government agencies have already made accessible without restriction. Our goal is to make public data easier to find and more transparent — not to expose private or confidential information.

Keep in mind that the Personal Information, such as your name and e-mail address that you provide us at the time of sign-up is not part of the Public Information available to users through NumLookup.com

2. Information Opt-Out

We believe everyone should have control over their personal information. That’s why NumLookup provides a simple, easy-to-use opt-out tool that lets you request removal of your public listings from our search results.

The process is quick, straightforward, and designed with your privacy in mind — so you can feel confident your request is handled securely and efficiently.

During 2023, we received a total of 31,826 opt-out requests and ALL were approved. Averge completion time was less than 30 days.

During 2024, we received a total of 94,071 opt-out requests and ALL were approved. Averge completion time was less than 20 days.

3. Personal Information NumLookup Collects

We may collect the following types of Personal Information while you are using NumLookup.com:

• Usage Information. NumLookup collects information about Your use of NumLookup.com - this may include the pages You visit, the links You hover over and click on, and the items You purchase. NumLookup also collects data about Your device such as IP address, mobile phone number, device identifiers, and data about the network, operating system, or software You use to use NumLookup.
• Cookies. NumLookup collects information that is typically not personally identifiable through the use of web technologies which include cookies and JavaScript tags. This information is used to (i) enhance your use and experience with our site; (ii) enable core features such as sign-ins and search functionality; (iii) for marketing analysis; (iv) and for quality improvement purposes. These technologies may be placed directly by NumLookup or via our third party provider. We reserve the right to implement different types of technologies for this purpose in the future.
• Account Information. NumLookup collects information that You provide in creating an account at NumLookup.com. This may include information such as Your name, email address, or phone number and payment data. NumLookup also collects passwords and similar security information used for authentication and account access.
• Search History. NumLookup retains a history of the searches You conduct on NumLookup.com
• Location Information. NumLookup may also collect location data derived from Your IP address.

4. Use and Sharing of Personal Information

NumLookup does not sell or share Personal Information outlined in section 3 to anyone. All personal information that is collected while you use NumLookup is used to provide You with the best possible user experience.

5. Children’s Privacy

NumLookup is directed to people, and should only be used by people, who are at least 18 years old. NumLookup does not knowingly collect Personal Information from anyone under the age of 18. If You are aware that NumLookup has collected Personal Information from someone under the age of 18, please alert NumLookup at hello@numlookup.com and the information will be removed from NumLookup's systems as soon as is reasonably possible. This policy regarding collection of data from children exceeds the requirements of the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.

NumLookup does not knowingly aggregate or provide Public Information about people under the age of 18. NumLookup's search may return Public Information about children between the ages of 13 and 18 because this Public Information may originate from third-party social networking sites and websites that permit children who are 13 years and older to create public profiles. To remove any public listing, including a public listing that contains information about a person under the age of 18, please use the NumLookup's opt-out tool mentioned in Section 2 above.

6. Right to Know & Correct

You have the right to request that NumLookup disclose what Personal Information it collects, uses, and discloses about You. You can make any such requests via hello@NumLookup.com
